Applications
Industries - Applying our
expertise of system solutions we have automated machinery in many different
process industries including: Food & Beverage, Composite Resins,
Marine, Textiles, Motor Sport, Waste Processing, Leather Processing,

Taylor Made Solutions - Using our
professional team of engineers we have automated many different batch and
continuous machines including: High Temperature Process Vessels, Water
& Effluent Treatment Plants, Steam Services, Liquid and Powder
Dispensing Systems, Water Batching, Curing Ovens and Autoclaves.
Textile Automation
With a dedicated textile automation
team Adaptive have become a major force within the dyeing and finishing
sectors. Over the past 18 months Adaptive have secured substantial
contracts with Aristoc, John Haggas, Shirley Dyeing and Penn Nyla.
Services and Power Management
In anticipation of the recently
introduced climate change levy (CCL) Adaptive have also developed a range
of monitoring systems for boilerhouse, water, gas, and electric usage and are
able to offer detailed analysis and reporting used in the justification of
energy consumption. The stand-alone PC with its standard network connection
enables remote access to the machinery without the need for a host or
supervisory system. The advantage of this system is that a boilerhouse
monitoring system can be viewed directly from a PC within the engineering
department.
Chemical dispensing
In addition to their continual
development plan on existing dye house products Adaptive have further
broadened their product range with a cost effective liquid chemical
dispenser. The dispenser carries a PC based control system and can be
supplied as a stand-alone system or can be integrated with recipe
management and machine control systems. Park Valley Dyers Ltd in Huddersfield have recently purchased the system for
their batch dyehouse.
Non-textile automation
Outside of the textile industry
Adaptive continue to grow their business in other industrial process
automation areas. One area in particular is industrial and domestic waste
processing. Another area Adaptive are active is in the supply of control
systems for Autoclaves Ltd of Keighley. Autoclaves Ltd manufacture high
specification vessels used in the production of Carbon fibre parts. The
parts are treated at high temperatures under pressure and vacuum conditions
and are used in the manufacturing process of Formula 1 racing cars and the
new Euro fighter, the Typhoon.
